🛒 Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (or turkey if preferred)
- 1 tbsp olive oil

- 4 cans of mild chili beans
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes

- .5 packet of taco seasoning
- ½ tsp salt (or to taste)
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper (optional for spice)

- Sauté the Aromatics
In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and bell pepper, cooking until softened (about 5 minutes). Add minced garlic and sauté 1 more minute. - Brown the Meat
Add ground beef to the pot. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed. - Season the Chili
Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, pepper, and cayenne. Let cook for 1–2 minutes to bring out the flavors. - Add Liquids and Beans
Pour in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beans, and broth. Stir to combine. - Simmer
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 30–40 minutes, stirring occasionally. The chili will thicken as it cooks. - Taste and Adjust
