1. Peppermint Chocolate Crinkle Cookies

Servings: ~24 cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix (15.25 oz)
  • 2 eggs
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
  • ½ tsp peppermint extract
  • ½ cup powdered sugar (for rolling)
  • Optional: crushed candy cane for topping

Directions

  1. In a bowl, mix cake mix, eggs, oil, and peppermint extract until a thick dough forms.
  2. Chill dough 30 minutes (helps get cracks).
  3. Roll tablespoon-sized balls and coat heavily in powdered sugar.
  4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 min until cracked.
  5. While warm, sprinkle crushed candy cane on top.
