3-Ingredient Shortbread Cookies

Bake Time: 12–15 min
Servings: ~18 small cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup softened butter (2 sticks)
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

Directions

  1. Cream butter + sugar until fluffy.
  2. Add flour until dough forms.
  3. Roll dough into log, slice into cookies, or press into a pan and cut later.
  4. Bake at 325°F (160°C) for 12–15 minutes until edges are just golden.

Add-on Variations

  • Dip in white chocolate and sprinkle crushed candy cane
  • Add vanilla bean paste or lemon zest
